Card 1 error 10

Hi there,

 

I'm in Switzerland on a personal contract that has EU access. I can receive calls and texts but I cannot call or text outbound.

 

Im here on work and need access quite urgently. Please can you help.

Hello @Lpk304 did you enable roaming at least 24-48hrs before traveling?

@tm90 has given the correct trouble shooting steps to follow. 

 

Thank you for trying these. 

 

I recommend logging into your My EE account on your phone's browser (not the app) or a computer.

 

Once you're logged in, a chat window will pop up when an advisor is available.

 

If you can't get in contact with chat, please get in touch from an alternative phone.

I've tried to get live chat access for two days now but it isn't popping up on my phone via browser. 

 

I also can't call customer services as all outgoing is blocked

What error message do you receive whilst trying to connect to a partner network via the manual network search?

Hiya, 

 

 

I only receive 'card 1 error 10 error' when i send a text and I just get a message saying numbers are blocked when I call out. 

 

Connecting to another network i.e. Swisscom is fine.

Is it possible to try the live chat service through a computer or a different device, @Lpk304?

 

When you say you can connect to Swisscom fine, do you mean you can use the services OK?

Hi there!

 

Thank you for your help! Live chat doesn't seem to be working at the moment. I say i'm an existing customer and it closes on me. 

 

I can connect to the internet, receive texts and calls. I can't place any calls or send any texts.

OK, thanks @Lpk304.

 

It sounds like you may have an active international call bar. The only team that will be able to remove this for you is our customer service team.

 

The only alternative to the live chat is to call from an alternative phone.
