Did you confirm roaming was active on your account before you went by texting "roaming" to 150?
Does it say you have roaming enabled when you log into MyEE and go to manage my device?
If you can get livechat to work, try that and ask CS to enable it?

So I can try and help, please may I get you to perform a manual network search and choose a network other than what you are on.
