Cannot make calls or send text from abroad - Error 10

I've been in Spain for a week, and cannot make calls or send text messages. When I try I get an Error 10 message. The same happened when I was in France in May. I can receive both calls and texts. I have tried changing the international prefix to all of the following: +44, 0044 and also no prefix. Nothing works.

Hi @melrose

Log into your online account and then menu - Manage device, make sure you have activated roaming and international calls.

Or

From the MyEE app current usage - controls, activate use phone abroad and make international and premium calls

Thanks

Re: Cannot make calls or send text from abroad - Error 10

Hi there @melrose

Thanks for coming here 🙂

If everything that @Northerner mentioned is all already set up, or if it still isn't working after, please try manually selecting a different available network:

  • iPhone > Settings > Mobile Data > Network Selection > Turn off Automatic

  • Android > Settings > More Networks > Mobile Networks > Network Operators > Tap OK

  • Windows > Settings > Mobile Network > Network Selection > Tap on start manual search

Hope you are all up and running now and having a great time in Spain 🙂

Leanne.
