Cannot activate Travel Data Pass

Hi. I am trying to activate a Travel Data Pass for my trip tomorrow. However, when I try and use the code, I get the reply: 'Yo ucan text the following codes to 150 for free while in the UK or EU:' and so on. This does not give me an indication that I will have the Travel Data Pass activated. I need help with this.

Re: Cannot activate Travel Data Pass

Are you on PAYG? You can't get the Travel Data Pass on PAYG & it comes back with that error msg. Text RO followed by the Country to see what you can get or look at http://explore.ee.co.uk/roaming/ee/france for EU add-ons.

Re: Cannot activate Travel Data Pass

You're welcome! Glad I could be of assistance.

As a matter of interest what misled you into thinking that you could get the Travel Data Pass? I could see if it needs fixing.

Re: Cannot activate Travel Data Pass

@ElenaG: This page EE Roaming | Travel Data Pass & its T&Cs do not explicitly exclude PAYG altho' they list other plan exceptions. This is the 2nd PAYG user I've seen fall into this trap.

Re: Cannot activate Travel Data Pass

To answer your first question, I've been half asleep all day. Ah well. To answer the second, I'm a 4GEE customer so I can't access the Travel Pass, which is annoying because it's great value for money for me.
