Yes, but unless you have an EE Max Plan or the Roam Further Pass, it'll cost as in https://ee.co.uk/help/add-ons-benefits-and-plans/call-or-going-abroad/roaming-costs/countries/canada .

Welcome to the community. 

 

As long as your roaming and international calling is activated in your My EE account, you'll be able to call from Canada.

 

As @XRaySpeX correctly pointed out you'll be charged for the calls if you're not on a Max plan (taken out after May 2017) or have the Roam Further add-on activated.
