Can’t make calls from abroad

Hi I’m in Finland, my roaming is on, I have 4g but I can’t make any calls ? Can anybody like ?

Thanks for coming back to me.

 

Your international bar may still be active on your account which would stop you making calls, could you check this as below;

 

Log into your My EE account online and go to Menu > Manage Device > Call abroad and Premium rate calls > This will show as ticked if you're set up for making calls when abroad.

 

Let me know how you get on.

Are you with us on pay as you go or pay monthly?

 

Can you receive calls and texts?

 

Also, are you able to send text messages?

I’m on a monthly contract.
I can only send or receive i messages and I haven’t received any calls or other texts

Hi

 

thanks for your quick response. Yes I can send texts, I have tried manually selecting other networks with no joy. When I dial out I have a Italian women say some words then the phone cuts off. 

I have a business contract.

Are you calling UK mobile or landline numbers?

 

Could you try logging into your My EE account online, and go to Menu > Account Settings > Blocking > Call abroad and Premium rate calls > This will show as ticked if you're set up for making calls when abroad.

Thanks for the information however when I try and do this it asks for my phone number and says it’s already registered even though I’m not trying to sign up for a new account just log in.

 

however it lets me log in to community, it sends me to the mobile app which will not work. 

hopefully I can resolve this ASAP as I need to call my car insurance to swap to a new car I am collecting on Saturday

Have you registered for a My EE account in the past?

 

If so, can you try logging in with your email address and password you have used?

 

If you are unable to access your My EE, can you call our business team from another phone on 0800 956 6100, they can get this looked into for you.

Yes I have, I have the correct email and password but it’s keeps asking for the phone number then saying it’s already registered

I would suggest giving our Business team a call on 0800 956 6100 from another phone, they can get this looked into for you.
