No, you don't get free roaming outside the EU. For what you need to pay see https://ee.co.uk/help/add-ons-benefits-and-plans/call-or-going-abroad/roaming-costs/countries/egypt .

 

Text ROAMING to 150 before you leave UK to check it is enabled on your a/c.

Welcome to the community 🙂

 

You can ensure your phone settings are enabled to travel before you go.

 

Within your My EE account, if you go to Menu > Manage Device > Roaming Abroad > This will show as ticked if roaming is activated.
