I can send text messages to other EU numbers while in the EU but phone calls to EU mobiles will not connect. Phone calls to UK mobiles are fine.

Good Morning @DenisFilby.
What country are you currently in?
Are you using the correct international dial code?

Have you been able to try using another network while you're there?
What networks are available?

Thank you to Jon for putting me in touch with the EE Customer Services team. However, this did not result in a solution despite going through the possibilities and fixes. The next step appears to be getting it 'escalated' to Level 2. In the meantime I have Googled the issue and it seems that this is not an uncommon problem. I did get (but not always) 'not registered on network' error messages. Trying out the various networks available and manually registering, as well as the auto registration, did not solve the problem. The phone is currently auto registered on Telia EE. It is suggested on the internet that this may be an IMEI fault. The IMEI number appears to be valid on my phone and the software is updated. Other possible fixes for this involve removing the phone battery but my Samsung 8 does not have a removable battery. As I stated before, I can phone the UK without a problem (and phone France) and text here. It is only local phone calls which drop off. I am resigned to accept that there is not a simple solution to this and to use WhatApp to phone instead.
