Hi, I've moved to Spain for a month and can't call anyone with my free minutes. An automated voice says all calls are 'restricted'. I didn't call EE to tell them I was going abroad, but can't find a number to call from Spain as I can't call out! Please help!
Also, no 'live chat' option is popping up for me, as some have suggested it might on other threads. I'm a pay monthly, sim-only customer.

Please try the troubleshooting below:-
Try re-booting your device
Try turning 4G off in ‘settings’
Perform a manual network search and selecting a different Spanish network:-
Please let me know if any of that works.

Thanks for your help. I'm afraid none of those worked, the only available networks were Orange (which I'm connected to,) or YOIGO, vodaphone and movistar are locked. Are there any other solutions to this problem?

In this case I recommend logging into your My EE account on your phone's browser (not the app) or a computer.
Once you're logged in, a chat window will pop up when an advisor is available.
If you can't get in contact with chat, please get in touch from an alternative phone.

This is still a problem, I've been in Spain for two weeks now and can't make calls which I'm paying for on my plan. I logged in on my phone but no chat option pops up. I can't call EE as I'm travelling alone and don't have access to a phone. I can recieve calls but not make them.
Can you tell me another way to get in touch with EE or for them to call me? This public discussion board doesn't seem a good way to discuss the problem as I'm not on wifi very much.
