Calls from france

What number would someone need to use to call my EE mobile from France? Some websites says it is just 44 others suggest you need a mobile code as well. Any advice would be appreciated

Re: Calls from france

Hi,

@foztaz

If you calling back UK you need to use +44 or, 0044 before number.

For example 00447xxxxxxxxx.

Many Thanks

Re: Calls from france

Thanks - it's more we are going to Disney are want to put our mobile number on a wristband on our daughter in case we got separated. If someone from a French landline was calling our EE mobile number would that still be 0044?

Re: Calls from france

Hi @foztaz

I know @tahirmian has offered support to you, I just wanted to follow up with some more information.

You would need to add +33 for France if you were calling the landline number from your mobile.

And if they were to call you, then to call your number it is +44

When you get there for your own peace of mind i'd advise testing it out.

Iv'e got a daughter and I know how much safety is paramount.

Have you set up Roaming before you go away?

If not, please see our EE Roaming - Getting ready to use your phone abroad support article.

Also here are the call charges and package information for France

If you manage to get on Thunder mountain, please tell me all about it.

Mind you I'm a scaredy cat, so I'd probably stick to the Tea cups.

Have a great holiday.
