Calling my friend in the states

I have an add on to call & text using my minutes while in NY, my question is will it cost my friend to accept the call if she’s out here & doesn’t have the add-on?  I think it should be free but she’s concerned

I assume your friend is an EE customer.

Yes, it will cost her to receive calls if she doesn't have the Go Further add-on or an EE Max Plan. It will cost her nowt to receive texts.
