There are no charges for the recipient in UK to receive calls & texts from anywhere.

Yes she is, just not sure whether there is a charge to the recipient for receiving calls from the USA

Re: Are calls from New York free

I have a 4GEE Max Plan starting on or after 10 May 2017; where can I use my allowance?

You can use your minutes, texts and data in 53 destinations including Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and USA.

What does fair usage mean?

If your UK data allowance is greater than 15GB, you will be subject to a fair usage policy of 15GB whilst you are roaming in the inclusive destinations.

If you exceed the fair usage allowance when roaming we will let you know by text and you may purchase a data add-on if needed.
Read our data fair use policy (PDF, 179KB).

What roaming speeds will I get while I’m abroad?

4GEE Max customers will get our fastest available speeds both at home and abroad. This applies for all our 4GEE Max Plans – taken before and from 10 May 2017.

Please note that data speeds will be depend on the local network you’re using and may not be as fast as in the UK.

(While roaming our 4GEE Essential and 4GEE customers will get our standard roaming speeds abroad - fast enough for streaming video, uploading photos and browsing.)

Is there a maximum length for calls while abroad?

The maximum call length both back to the UK and within the country in which you’re travelling made using inclusive roaming allowances (as long as it’s in the list of countries included) is 120 minutes. If your call is longer than this you’ll have to redial to continue the call.

Additionally:

4GEE Max sim only plans were removed from sale 6 Feb 2018, any customer still on these plans can still use them as above, moving sim only plans to the current offers will remove 5 additional roaming countries. If you wish to continue the sim only Max benefit but up your data allowance this maybe available by calling 150 and moving across plans that differ from current sim only offers.

Customers still on any sim only Max plan will continue to benefit from their 5 country roaming plan inclusions.

Most welcome 🙂 , if staff copy and pasted stuff it wouldn’t be so hard for people to find answers as google etc would find them easily, and less repeat posts  😉

One issue though is that things do change. If information has been pasted in, it can't be replied upon as accurate if it turns up in a Ask Jeeves search months later. A link is more likely to go to a page with accurate information or a dead page if it's been removed.
