I find myself unable to make phone calls or contact EE customer care services on my phone from Lanzarote unless I am using an app. I did not advise EE that I was leaving the UK as I had checked that my package includes calls to UK numbers before leaving and have had a text from EE assuring me that I can make calls and send texts home. I cannot access the live chat facility on the Web site. I need to remedy this urgently. Any suggestions please? Thank you.

Having a roaming allowance does not auto enable it. You may still be able to in your online a/c under Manage Devices. If not, you will need to call EE. Use the landline nos. in my sig.

Can you receive calls and texts OK?
If you do a manual network search does it let you select an available network?
Another quick question....are you a personal EE customer?
