4GEE Max - Before May 10th

Hello All,

Im after a bit of help...

I have a 4GEE max plan which was taken out 22Sep 2016. I've seen in one of the posts that if it was taken out after May 'you can use your minutes, texts and data in 53 destinations including Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and USA.

Why does this not include plans before May? I now have a 4GEE plan that i dont get any benefit out of? Or am i incorrect with the above statement?

Thanks

Chris

Re: 4GEE Max - Before May 10th

Hi @Chris and welcome to the community.

Please do give our customer services a quick call and they will be happy to place you on one of the new max plans.

It does not affect the current terms or your contract, it will though be an increase in cost depending on plan.

Many thanks,

Lee

Thanks for that, Completley missed that bit.

Dont suppose you know if this means a new contract to agree on the new 4GEE changes?

Re: 4GEE Max - Before May 10th

Think it's just a matter of moving you to the new tariff. But I would check with the advisor before agreeing to it all.

Slight Increase?

I pay £15 for 20GB now, and I can move for a 'slight increase' to £41 for 30GB as there's no 20GB plan.

Re: 4GEE Max - Before May 10th

Thanks @Lee_H. I’ve sorted this over the phone with EE :-).

Is there a easy way to tell if the plan has been updated to include the new 5 countries? I was told it can take upto 24 hours.

thanks

Re: 4GEE Max - Before May 10th

In MyEE, your plan destription should update to:

"You get our very best with your 4GEE Max Plan: unlimited calls, text and xGB of our fastest speed data to use in the UK, and when you're abroad in the EU and selected countries. You can also get live sporting action on your phone with the BT sport app"

Make sure you also have roaming enabled before you leave.

Re: 4GEE Max - Before May 10th

Hi..same for me. Took mine out in March. Partial refund due EE ?? Customers on these plans are paying for what you now give for free..

Re: 4GEE Max - Before May 10th

Hi @broadbandcat,

Your current Max plan won't change in price, but you do have the option to switch to one of the new Max plans if you prefer.

If you would like to switch, please get in touch with customer services.

Thanks

Re: 4GEE Max - Before May 10th

hmmm, I was upgraded to the new max plan yesterday but mine reads as follows

You get our very best with your 4GEE Max SIM Plan: unlimited calls, text and XXGB of our fastest speed data to use in the UK, EU and ten other countries. You also get live sporting action on your phone with the BT Sport app.

I have it confirmed from a different advisor that the 5 additional countries are now on my account

@Rosperc Please edit your post and remove your phone number, this is a public forum.

Have you looked at the EE Travel Data pass? 500MB of data a day for £4. You need to text travel to 150 to add it though, so assume roaming does work just no add on enabled?

Re: 4GEE Max - Before May 10th

Roaming enabled and when I text travel to 150 it says it's unavailable otherwise that is exactly what I would do!
