So I sent PAC code from Vodafone 24 hours ago , had text to say "it's today" , no text as yet to say its complete. Spoke with EE C/S as : Still receving calls on Old Phone/Sim & Texts , no incoming calls on new handset /Sim .....apart from calls /texts specifically from EE numbers.
Can also make outgoing calls & new number appears on "MY EE".
Weird situation, send a text from new handset with the ported number & teh response comes through on the old handset /sim .
Dont know if I'm coming or going , old handset still showing Vodafone SIM as active .
Is this typical for a Port? ie issues / duplicate use of SIMS etc throughout the process ? Seems weird. C/S saying "just wait until midnight , might take all day for all parts to fall in place " - is this regular ? Thanks for any help. Ta.
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

all appears to have now been resolved - thanks to whoever looked at investigating. As a consequence of posting on here , had a message & call from a lovely Lady in Newcastle -Tracy - who (although it looked like it had been resolved) was a willing & able contact point .
I'm not entirely how / what with regards solving - I was told by Tracy that the MPN Team had been in touch with Vodafone and were monitoring, guess it just took longer than was ideal & the split port was compounded by being over a weekend. I'm checking as we speak , but it all appears to have now ported. Really useful being able to use a forum like this and have people willing to comment / help & in fairness , get in touch. Thank you.

Welcome to the community 🙂
Don't worry! This is completely normal while your port is being completed.
Until midnight tonight, you will see split service between your Vodafone and EE SIM cards.
Which phone are you using with the EE SIM card?
If you are using an iPhone, remember to change your number in the settings to the one your porting in.
If you are using an Android phone there is nothing to do.
It wont be long now until your up and running.

No change here - still two working phones/sims - ee calls /texts only being received on new EE Sim, all else still going to Vodafone - SIM still active.
What do I need do next ? really frustrating. guess no point doing anything on weekend?.
Havent had text to say "its done " either . Feeling like this has only partially been successful .
Any help appreciated.

C/S helpful, didnt understand issue at first - found it odd that boths SIMS working at same time etc, said that the port ahd been successful on their system - whcih I was able to demonstarte was absoluetely not the acse - by virtue of still having teh active Vodafone SIm receicing/making calls. Lots of head scratching - beleive a web form filled in and escalated to MNP - should hear back by Tuesday?. I'm lost................

It's good news that our systems are showing the port has completed.
The porting systems don't complete anything over the weekend. With the port starting on Friday but not completing, fingers crossed it goes through first thing Monday for you 🙂
If not, the porting team will be able to get it completed manually on Tuesday for you when they get in touch.
Come back and let me know how you get on after the weekend 🙂

No change sadly, non EE calls & texts going to Vodafone handset / sim ( still showing active ) EE calls etc coming in on new handset / EE number. Could this be looked at today at all - is there anyway of speaking to the specialist team ?

Thakns for responding - Yep. It's not that.
Let me explain so as not to confuse:
IPhone 6s -Vodafone - SIM still active , make/receive calls /texts.
Iphone XR - EE network - (the "new" phone" - to whcih number ported)- only receives texts / calls from other EE Network users , nobody else.
If for example I dial my number from Landline - Old phone receives it . If I dial from one of my families other EE network Phones - new one rings. !
All Iphone settings checked / re-checked . It should not be active on two newtorks this long in and performing like this.
I just dont know whot/what/when ........really frustrating.
Is there anyone other I can speak to over and above CS who can take responsibility ? Thanks again.
