Number not transfered 4 days after transfer

I've signed up for a package with EE last Sunday and they said my number should be transfered by Tuesday, I got a text confirming it should be transfered on Tuesday and now it is the Sunday after and I still don't have my number so it has left me without a phone.

 

Please advise, thank you

Thanks for getting back to me @whereismynumber.

 

I wanted to ensure the correct number was showing in the handset settings and I can see you have already checked this 🙂

 

Is there any signal showing on the handset?

Or does it say 'no service' or 'emergency calls only'?

 

Do you have the old SIM card that your number was attached to?

If the old SIM card shows no service, this will confirm the port is in process and the old SIM card has cut off ready for the number to connect on the new SIM card.

I've just tried to refill in my details in the porting form and get the following error

 

For my temporary number which is EE

"It should be EE brand, not from another brand. Temporary Mobile Number"

 

 

For the number I want to keep which hasn't transferred yet??

"It shouldn`t be EE brand. Mobile number you want to keep"

 

I think something has gone wrong on your end

I'm sorry this doesn't seem to have completed fully yet.

 

When you dial out to another number, does it still show your temporary number?

 

When people contact you on the number you are wanting to keep and transfer to your EE account, what does it advise?

 

Can you let me know which handset you are using? We may be able to alter some settings on the device.

It won't let me dial out and ends the call almost immediatly

It just goes straight to answerphone

Huawei P20 Pro

 

Also when I check my settings on my phone, the number says my old number the one I want to keep
