What are rights concerning returning S8+ for a different phone.....as it cos it does not do as advertised.....ie bixby.......

@Gazzaing If you got this from a store you can not return the device it's yours for the contract term, If you got it via online or over the phone then you get a 14 day cooling off period so in this time you have to call customer services and they will tell you what to do, if it's gone over the 14 days there is nothing you can do.

You always have rights under the Consumer Rights Act if the goods you bought are not as described and/or not fit for purpose wherever you bought them.

Bixby was well advertised to not be launched when the phone was to be released.
Bixby will come. It's a new AI which needs work. Samsung wants to get this right before releasing it.
It's an amazing phone don't let this be the reason to return it though.
Bixby works just unable to talk to it yet.
I have used it many times to find somewhere to buy the item I have seen.

It's coming later this spring.
And Bixby Vision works fine with me.

I have read various reports stating USA well very bixby later in spring...english USA....but Other countries will follow....uk could be much later in year as software is struggling with accents

If you want a WJ51 just use Google Assistant.

Samsung has released Bixby Voice in South Korea today.
It won't be long now til it gets rolled out in other regions.
