Transfer Galaxy Watch data plan to Apple Watch

Hi all,

I’ve currently have a Samsung Galaxy watch with an EE 4G data plan. I’d like to transfer this to an Apple Watch instead but don’t seem to be able to make it happen.

I’ve removed the data plan from the Galaxy Watch but when trying to setup mobile data on my Apple Watch I’m only presented with the option of starting another plan.

Is it possible to do this? Any help greatly appreciated 🙂

Thanks.

Re: Transfer Galaxy Watch data plan to Apple Watch

@RR24_FlyingV   You’ll not be able to move the data plan to the Apple Watch as it’s for the Samsung watch that’s on your account and the contract is to pay for the watch and the data. .  You’ll need to pay off the Samsung watch and start a 30 day rolling tariff for the Apple Watch.

But if it is possible you’ll need to call customer services to do this but I doubt it is possible.

Re: Transfer Galaxy Watch data plan to Apple Watch

Thanks for the reply.

I’d hope that it is possible as I’m still paying the same amount to EE. I got the S10 on contract but I’ve installed the SIM in an iPhone XS (yes, I am a mad tech hoarder) and that works fine and in concept, this is no different.

I’ll get in touch with EE CS and see what they say.

Thanks again.
