Sim sharer

Hi

until the other day I was on a contract plan, which I had an extra sim( sharer I believe ?) that I was paying £13 a month for, originally took it to use for the kids in the car, I bought some little square box that would allow kids to connect and use my data? Never did use it in the 2 years I had my contract, now moved to sim only now contract is up, I’d like to get rid of this other SIM card that I’m paying for, but don’t see any way of cancelling it online? Is this something I need to phone to do? Or can I go into store? Thanks
