Sim only upgrade

Hi Ive recently signed a sim only contract for £19.99 pm. This was an early upgrade offer. Can you tell me when the £19.99 kicks in (is it immediate or do I have to wait for the old contract to expire). Also I'm keeping the same number so I presume no new sim is required and I keep my existing sim? Thanks

Hello @almostblue100 if it was a direct upgrade then the new plan usually starts within 24hrs of placing the upgrade. You do not need a new SIM card for an upgrade no only when the current SIM card is lost, stolen, damaged/faulty or the incorrect size for the new device. 🙂

The plan is sometimes started on the next bill date 🙂
