Price increase after 2 weeks!

2 weeks ago took out a new contract and phone with ee, transferring from Vodafone. I had budgeted for the phone and contract and then yesterday have been told that I have price increase from end of march. This surely is wrong!

Re: Price increase after 2 weeks!

@Nigholland   It’s in the contract that you agreed to that RPI increases will occur.  You’ll probably find you joined EE before they changed the prices of contracts to include the RPI.

Re: Price increase after 2 weeks!

Hi @Nigholland

See here:

https://ee.co.uk/help/help-new/price-plans/mobile/rpi-price-calculator-2020?WT.mc_id=ON_EE_E_pricech...

Each year in March, your monthly price plan(s) will increase by the rate of Retail Price Index (RPI). Any bills you receive after 30 March 2020 will show a 2.2% increase in the monthly price of your plan(s) if you joined or upgraded to a pay monthly or SIM Only contract before 1 March 2020.

Thanks
