Phone showing wrong amount of Data Allowance

Hi..

I have a plan that allows 3GB of Data Allowance, which restarts on the 20th of each month. Yet my new phone is still showing my previous plans Data Allowance of 2GB and also it has a restart date of the 6th of each month, which is the start date from when i bought the new upgrade which was from the 6th August of this year.

My phone thinks the Data is used up, and i can't use any more data now until 6th September!

Why is this doing this..

Re: Phone showing wrong amount of Data Allowance

Hi @cornishbluebird,

The 20th is your billing date with us, you can reset the data usage on the device to start from the 20th.

If you would like further information please see the Google Pixel help page here>

Thanks, Leanne.

HI,

@cornishbluebird

You can find your correct data amount left clicking on this link

http://add-on.ee.co.uk

Please use your mobile data for this link not your WiFi.

Many Thanks

Re: Phone showing wrong amount of Data Allowance

Thats fine, and as i said i knew this was the case. But my phone is not reflecting the fact that my data usage has restarted! So its all well and good that the online version is correct, its my phone that isn't correct.. is there something i need to do to get my phone to say the same as what i'm being told online..

Re: Phone showing wrong amount of Data Allowance

Hello there @cornishbluebird

Thanks for coming here,

What device are you using?

Also what happens when you try and use the data?

Thanks, Leanne.

Re: Phone showing wrong amount of Data Allowance

Hi Leanne

My phone is Google Pixel, i upgraded on the 7th August. I have just realised i can increase my GB warning, so did so to 3GB, however according to my phone i have used 2.22GB (as of now) and the dates underneath indicates this is usage used between 7th Aug - 6th Sept.

However, my details online tells me i have 2.8GB left, and the allowance restarts on the 20th September (like it used to on previous plan when it was 2GB).

Its very annoying, because i'm not sure if i'm going to run out of GB data come the 6th September!

Re: Phone showing wrong amount of Data Allowance

Hello there @cornishbluebird

Thanks for coming back to me.

Usage online and the device can vary.

If you use this link  add-on.ee.co.uk.

This will show you how much data you have remaining.

Thanks, Leanne.

Re: Phone showing wrong amount of Data Allowance

you have clearly not read what i have posted have you.. all you have posted is exactly what the previous so called expert had posted..

As i have stated, my phone is telling me my usage date is from the 7th Aug - 6th Sep, but my online usage date is saying its due to restart on the 20th Sep..

why is my phone giving me different usage dates..

before you go on about ee.co.uk again.. i know the one online is correct, i get that, because its the same dates my previous plan used.. i get it.. i want my phone to reflect the same, so why isn't it????
