Out of Contract - Notice required?

Contract ended 5 Nov 19. Intend keeping phone but changing to cheaper Sim only deal with different provider.  Do I have to give notice or will current payments cease automatically when new SIM card inserted?

 Thanks C

Re: Out of Contract - Notice required?

Hello there @cath54186711

Thanks for coming to the community,

Have you requested a PAC to keep your number?

If you would like to keep your number, you can get a PAC by;

If you choose to text us for your PAC, we’ll send it to you via text message. This message will include any early termination charges for terminating your contract before its end date.

Once you have given your PAC to your new provider, they will be able to switch your number the next working day.

If you prefer you can cancel your current service but not keep your mobile number, you can request a Service Termination Authorisation Code (STAC).

You can get a STAC free of charge through one of the following options:

If you choose to text us for your STAC, we’ll send it to you via text message. This message will include any early termination charges for terminating your contract before its end date.

Thanks 🙂

Leanne.
