Leaving EE as contracts ran out

I have an iPhone 8 Plus with EE and my contract ended on 23rd September but I’ve still been charged this month. I’ve moved and ordered a phone from sky mobile as I’m not looking to upgrade. Does this phone just stop working or do I have to do something to cancel? Thanks

Re: Leaving EE as contracts ran out

@Kennedyjadeee : These contracts don't just end. After the min. term they just carry on on a rolling month's notice basis until you explicitly cancel or upgrade.

Phone EE giving 30 days notice of cancellation.

Re: Leaving EE as contracts ran out

Hi and welcome to the community, @Kennedyjadeee.

Further to @XRaySpeX's reply, if you'd like to keep the number, you can text PAC to 65075.

You can then give the PAC code to your new provider. The number will transfer, ending your contract with EE.
