How can I make a direct payment on my monthly account?

I have recently deleted my Direct Debit (in error) and a payment was refused.

How can I make that payment directly?

I have the Reference number for the payment but no bank account details.

Re: How can I make a direct payment on my monthly account?

Oh, Orange!

My Orange bill that I got yesterday lists the same one here

By phone or internet banking

Account number: 97171263
Sort code: 50-00-00

Use your Orange account number (shown on the top right hand corner of your bill) as a payment reference.

It can take 4 days for EE to get it and know it's paid, I'd still try phoning!

Hi @barcud You can log into MyEE and make a card payment. In the Your bill section, Direct Debit tab, there's a button to make a card payment. Or give EE a call on 150.

Re: How can I make a direct payment on my monthly account?

The problem is that I am in the process of moving my Number to PlusNet (I asked EE and they couldn't match the deal).

THis is my final payment and, although I have instructed my Bank to reinstate the Direct DEbit, I don't know how to get EE to 'ask for it again'.

If I could find the correct Account Number and Sort Code, I could make a payment.

Do we know what these are?

Re: How can I make a direct payment on my monthly account?

I really would advise calling and making the payment over the phone. If you make a mistake with the reference or bank details, you'll end up with a default on your credit file.

The EE bank details to make a payment yourself can be found here:

Thanks Chistery,

Are you able to confirm that the Account number given is correct for legacy Orange accounts too?

Re: How can I make a direct payment on my monthly account?

Hi Leanne_T,

I tried that number this morning, and took the mobile phone option. In the end it stopped me as my number is no longer recognised as an Orange/EE one as I'm with PlusNet now.

What options should I take when phoning to get through to the team you suggest please?

Re: How can I make a direct payment on my monthly account?

@barcud: Is this a mobile or Broadband a/c? PN do mobile as well as BB. Those EE bank details may not apply to BB particularly as BB does not offer payment by Internet banking.

You can pay a BB bill in your MyEE for BB under Make a payment .

Re: How can I make a direct payment on my monthly account?

Hi XRaySpeX,

It's my mobile.

Obviously, I need to pay as soon as I can.

Unfortunately, I no longer have a 'MyEE' as I have moved  to PlusNet now.

Absolutely silly of me, but if only I'd looked at my last bill, there is the correct Banl details for payment.

Would like to phone and pay if I can, but at least it is a good backstop.
