Hi I got a phone Wednesday as a new contract and now it says my bill is due in 6

@Adelebentley  This is correct as you pay pro rata.  Your first bill will be slightly more than you agreed to as you need to pay the few days before your bill was generated.

If you are a brand new customer, EE don't pro-rata your first bill as they give you the first day or so for free so you first bill should be the agreed amount.

 

You will only get a pro-rata bill if you add a second line or if you are an existing customer upgrading etc.

Just to add to the advice given by both @Chris_B and @Profile closed

 

Line rental is billed in advance which is why you receive a bill pretty much straight away.
