Do I need to ring to cancel my contract even though my 24 months is up?

I have nearly finished my 24 month contract and do not wish to carry on with EE, but will be getting a SIM only through 3. Do I need to cancel my contract with EE even though my 24 months is up? Will they continue to charge me if I don't?

Hello @Scorpio-Sami

Welcome to the community,

Your contract will change to a 30day rolling contract, so you will need to get a PAC code to keep your number if you are going to keep your number, you then pass that on to your new provider and they should do the rest, as you have 30 days to use the PAC code otherwise your contract will continue, but if you just want to leave and get a new number from your new provider, then you do have to give 30 days notice.

@Scorpio-Sami   Yes you need to give 30 days notice.  And it’s quicker to call than write to give notice.
