Changed Address... cant upgrade

Hi

 

I changed my address for my EE account online at the end of July but I am due for an upgrade now. However after speaking to somone at EE customer service last night, they told me you now cannot upgrade for 3 months because of possible fraud. So I am stuck with an old phone paying full price and I cannot upgrade until 31st October!

 

Is there nothing that can be done about this even if I went into a store with proof of address / ID?

Hi,

 

If you go into store you should be OK. Take proof of your new address etc.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 07953 966 250 from any other phone.

EE standard opening hours are 8am to 9pm weekday, 8am to 8pm on weekends.

Hi

 

I think I changed my address in September 2015 and then I changed it again on 31st July this year, so it was over 30 days ago since I last changed it.

 

Just frustrated if I cannot upgrade as my contract expires in about 10 days, so surely EE would rather I upgrade or I could end up leaving and joining another network.

 

Hoping that wont be the case though, thanks.
