Ive recently upgraded my contract (end of July), but the phone ive chosen isnt what I expected it to be. Can I change it or am I stuck with it for the duration?

@Wagsteek20 if contract phone was ordered online or over phone you have 14 day cooling off period. If ordered in store there is no cool off.
Unfortunately you are stuck with hand set. After 6 months you can pay to get out of contract but you will have to pay for remaining contract. Hope this makes sense.

@Rogersdave771, yes this makes sense. After 6 months I can pay off the rest of the contract, and start a-fresh or go elsewhere.

You will however have to pay the whole of the contract minus vat at 16.9%.

Thanks for this. If im stuck with the phone for the duration, ill just have to deal with it. Its a lot of money to pay at once. And ill just remember to get a sim only next time.

@Wagsteek20 what handset is it that you are using?
You could buy a pay as you go handset, on EE, which will probably be cheaper than paying to get out of contract, that you like and put the sim in it then keep paying for contract.

Its just silly things, like I miss phone calls when outdoors as its not as loud as my previous phone, getting used to the different functions, when its in my pocket the emergency dialer comes on after a notification.
I think its just teething problems, but I just wondered if there was any way of changing the phone for a different one. But reading the other community posts, it wont happen
