Can I change my number mid contract to a PAYG number from another network?

I have a pay monthly contract which has a while to go. I would like to change the number to one I have on a PAYG with another network. Is this possible?

Yes, you can port your no. from the other network by asking them for your PAC & then submitting it to EE using the transfer your number form.
