Transferring number from EE PAYG to EE PAYG

Hello,

Long story short, I have an EE PAYG account with a £15 'Everything Pack' on it. I ordered a new EE PAYG SIM as I wanted to move over to the £15 'Data Pack' instead (which I couldn't select from within my EE account online).

I've just spoken to Customer Services to ask if I can move my old number across to the new SIM and they said this isn't possible between two EE PAYG accounts (i.e. you can only keep your number if transferring from a monthly contract or another provider).

So I'm now in the process of moving my number to o2, so that I can then move it back to EE... is this really the only way of achieving what I want?

Cheers

Chris

Re: Transferring number from EE PAYG to EE PAYG

That is correct. It's the only way to transfer no. between SIMs within EE by porting it out & then back via another PAYG network.

Re: Transferring number from EE PAYG to EE PAYG

It seems a little odd, but if that's the only option I'll carry on signing up to o2 for a little while. Thanks for confiming.
