PAYG Pack Started Immediately?

I added a 7 day Data Pack two days ago via the EE app and it said that the Pack won't start until I start using Data, Texts or Calls. I haven't used any of these and Mobile Data has been turned off on my iPhone, so zero Pack usage in the first two days.

 

The app now says that it will renew in 5 days, so the Pack started immediately before I had used any Data, Texts or Calls as it specifically states. 

 

How can this be?

Hi, 

 

I didn't have a Pack before adding this one, apart from the same Pack a few weeks ago that I used.

 

AL to 150 says: "You have 10 minutes, 10 texts and 100MB remaining until 14/03/2019 for your £1 Data Pack".

 

So the app is wrongly stating 5 days but the text is saying still 7 days.

I'd trust the text. See tomorrow if AL says "until 15/03/2019". I.e it's still waiting for you to use your 1st thing.
