Have a pack being told I don't have enough credit to make call 2 regular contact

Hi since yesterday I've been trying to call or text a friend that I contact nearly every day. Text will say it's failed to send and when I call it says I dont have enough credit to make the call?!! I have a pack that doesn't expire for another 25 days, anyone know what's going on? I can't afford to top up again to call EE. HELP!!!

Hi, @Lorna72,

Can I suggest giving CS a call,

as they may need to delete your registration and reset it!

Kind regards

Hi @Lorna72

Welcome to the community. 🙂

Is it just one number that you're having this problem with? Are they on EE too?

Apparently it's Lyca mobile phone numbers, they've now started charging anyone who calls 30p and Lyca is now classed as international calling. Heard it's with all networks not just with EE... crazy thing to do!! Thanks for the feedback guys 😘

Hi, @Lorna72,

You're welcome 😊👍

Thanks for updating us 👍

I had a funny feeling this was something to do with Lyca mobiles!

Have a great evening Lorna72

Kind regards

Yes, reports are now coming in here of calls/texts to Lyramobile nos. wanting to be charged, often when the PAYG caller doesn't have credit to pay for them, whereas they used to be callerable w/out charge.
