pay as you go question: Can't make a call?

Hi,

I bought a "Pay As You Go" SIM card (150 Mins + 500 MB) in airport last week, I can use the network normally, but when I try to make a call (UK number 0845 - ....), it told me 'you don't have enough credit ..', my first question is what should I do to fix it.

My second question is, can I use this SIM card more than 3 years? It looks like I just need to recharge it at some time (monthly??)?

Thanks!

CY

Re: pay as you go question: Can't make a call?

@cycheng :

  1. Top-up loads! Your PAYG pack only covers normal UK landlines starting 01, 02 & 03 and normal UK mobile nos. starting 07. It does not include service nos starting 08 or premium rate nos starting 09. These can be very expensive & are charged in 2 parts; EE's access charge + the provider's service charge, See Non Geographic Numbers charges
  2. EE PAYG SIMs are deactivated after 6 months of non-use. You then have a further 3 months to call EE to reactivate it before it is lost completely.

    You need to make a chargeable action within every 180 days, like making a chargeable call or text, topping up or buying a Pack or Add-on, not just using your mins, texts or data from your pack.

Re: pay as you go question: Can't make a call?

0845 are chargeable so you need credit not just the pack minutes.

Your second question is the allowances will end after 30 days so you will need to pay the fee again to get new allowances
