issues with new PAYG SIM

hi there - bought a PAYG SIM to test EE coverage in our area as looking at leaving O2

put SIM into my unlocked iPhone - it does not pick up any EE coverage. do i need to register the SIM in my EE account to use it?

to register - it would seem that I need to know the phone number assigned to the SIM - how do i find this out?

apologies for basic questions - new to EE!

You don't need to register a PAYG SIM to MyEE in order to use it.

Re: issues with new PAYG SIM

Hi @Chris_Ay

Welcome to the community. 🙂

Does it show any error messages, such as 'insert SIM' or 'No Service'?

Could you try a manual network search?

Tap Settings > Mobile Data > Network Selection > Select EE.
