Why does the 5GB of data I thought I had bought show up as only 50mb in MyEE?

Hi Leanne
I bought a pay-as-you-go 'Pack' which has '5GB Data' on the front - for £15.
Now when I log-in at MyEE it says I have 50MB left... and I haven't even logged in yet!
I am confused!
I only bought the top-up because my data I had on my contract was running very low and I didn't want to go over my total amount. At this rate I would have been better off paying the surcharge on my existing contract.

Any help appreciated  🙂

Have you been charged for the 5GB?

 

Also, how much data is included with your pack?

I have paid £15 for the pack - it says on the front of the pack:

 

5GB Data

unlimited texts

500 mins

 

So I assumed that the pack included 5GB Data, unlimited texts and 500 mins of calls.

 

However the 'Allowance' shown on my MyEE App indcates that only 50MB of data is available.

Any help appreciated  🙂

Thanks for getting back to us @unfranked.

 

It sounds like the 50MB is just an initial starter allowance, and the 5GB will start once this is used.

 

Have you used the 50MB yet?
