Hi!
I live in South America and have an EE SIM card for my trips across Europe. Bought it a year and a half ago.
After my last trip I deleted my credit card since it was about to expire.
Now, whenever I try to add a new card to top up my credit I get this error.
Any idea why this can be happening?
I'm trying to register a non UK credit card.
The one that I was previously using was non UK as well.
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Hi @Agustin
Welcome to the community.
It sounds like your SIM may have entered pay as you go hibernation and been quarantined.
As @Chris_B said, you'll probably have to order or pick up a new SIM card for your trip.
You can order a SIM on our website, or pick one up from an EE Store near where you're staying.

@Agustin you will need a new Sim card and Sim cards expire after six months of no use. So you’ll also get a new number.

One of these options may help you find the answers you need.
