I am currently living in Dubai, before moving here last month I called EE and downgraded from my contract to Pay As You Go.
I was informed that I needed to keep my phone topped up and use it while I'm living abroad for 6 months. I was told that I would be charged £10 and this would be put on my sim card as credit after the 30 days notice period of leaving a contract is over.
This period is now over, I have put my sim card in my phone to check balance and to send one text message to keep the sim card active. My balance check is £00.00 and my EE app now says that my account has been closed?
I just need a live chat to speak to an advisor from abroad, so that they can check my account and I can sort any issues out. I cannot lose my number whilst im away.
Sorry for the long explanation, look forward to any suggestions? Help to a live chat would be much appreciated.

There is no live chat for PAYG customers I am afraid.
You will need to call from another phone I am afraid.

You have no other phone, local network PAYG sim, or access to a payphone, land line of any kind?
Your accounts is probably in hibernation.

@oabarrett: You could try the Freephone no. in my sig over Skype.
It can't have gone into hibernation after only being on PAYG for 1 month. Anyway the text service is working for it.
