I have a mysterious charge on my final bill 'remaining contract charge'.

Please explain what this is.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 07953 966 250 from any other phone.

EE standard opening hours are 8am to 9pm weekday, 8am to 8pm on weekends.

It could also be a charge for cancelling your contract early.

Well, I don't consider it reasonable to have to go through the palaver of registering and searching a forum to find an answer to a question which I should be able to ask of EE directly. Unfortunately, once you have moved your number, EE's support lines are not available to you - indeed there appears to be no official way to make contact with them other than by post !

 

However, I did eventually find a number on a 3rd party site which got me through.

 

For anyone else with the same problem, the number is 

0800 956 6060

EE should publish this number on their own site.

@walliskc  You don’t need a number or account to call customer services via a landline or how would you take out a contact via phone as this is an option to use when you take out a contract with EE.

There is a specific number for customers who have recently left EE on our get in touch page:-

 

"Recently left EE or have an EE account which is not currently active?

 

Please call 0800 956 6000"

 

I'm glad you managed to get through and hopefully this helps someone else in the same situation.

Hi I recently left EE and tried the number you posted (0800 956 6000) because I wanted to query my final bill but it asks me to put in my phone number, (which I ported when I left), and when I do, it says it is not a valid EE number and then hangs up on me.  What options do I need to press in order to talk to someone?

You are calling the sales team and the number you need to call is customer services to have the final bill looked at.
