Hi, I have £10 credit on my data only sim..will this automatically become data?

I was given £10 free credit from EE due to problems at their end.  I was trying to add data to a sim which should be data only but their systems were down.  On the app, its not allowing me to change this to data so I am unsure whether this will automatically convert to data usage or not or do I still need to buy a bundle??

£10 credit is useless otherwise as it is for a portable MYWIFI device so cannot be used for calls.

Don't mean to sound stupid!!

Hi there @Ashley78

Welcome to the EE Community.

You don't sound stupid 🙂

You should be able to purchase data within your My EE with the credit that is on your account.

Have you tried completing this action within your My EE Online?
