EE sent text about losing my number?

EE sent me a text saying you haven’t made a call or sent a text in a while, so you may lose your number. There is little or no signal in my area, because EE removed the mast when it switched from orange. Because of the crap signal, I do a lot over WiFi. I’m on pay as you go, so I’m guessing it’s because I haven’t topped up in a couple months so now they are forcing me to do it, even though I won’t use any of it before they make me do it again next month, as unlike the old system the credit used to roll over without the benefits of 3G etc. Now it just runs out completely. I worked out over 3 months (£30) I must have used about £3-£5 for texts and calls.

Re: EE sent text about losing my number?

@EE90 : Within every 180 days you need to make a chargeable action like making a chargeable call or text, topping up or buying a Pack or Add-on, not just using your mins, texts or data from your pack.

As you don't use it much you'd be better off w/out a pack forcing you to to top up every month. Text STOP PACK to 150 before you next top-up, so you can use it as normal PAYG at standard per-unit rates.

Hi @EE90

As per EE hibernation policy you need to make a chargeable call or text.
