I am attempting to top up my orange E1120 mobile and I can no longer do that the previous way via text (I had a card registered on EE) which I assume is due to changes closing orange accounts a few months ago (?)
I tried to create a new EE account so I could register a card to top up but when I go to add my mobile number it is not recognised.
Is there a way to either i) add my mobile number to my EE account or ii) top up?

@AdamJ2 You can not add a Orange number to a EE account as it’s not a EE number but a Orange one, 2 different networks. You’ll need to call customer services to go about this.

I am not aware of having moved my number over from Orange to EE.
Should I be doing this and if so how?
I would still like the same PAYG method I am using at the moment. All I really want to do is just top up my mobile.

Ok I have done that.
It says I will need to change the sim card when they send a new one but my current one is locked in?
Will there be instructions on how to do that?
