Deactivated SIM (too long since last use). I topped up before realising.

I went past the 9 month window to use my SIM but topped up my account before realising. Do I need a new SIM? How do I get one if I am in the USA? Once I do get one, can I use my account credit or will it be a new account, and have I lost my money?

thank you.

@Smac1010 :

  • You shouldn't have been able to top-up once the SIM had been deactivated. How did you top-up? I should contact EE & ask for your top-up to be refunded.
  • EE will only post SIMs to UK addys.
  • Once a PAYG SIM has been finally deactivated you lose any credit.
