Cannot stop pack by sending text on 150

I just bought a new EE sim and I am trying to stop the pack by texting STOP on 150 but it keed saying I must be an EE customer! which I am of course. What can I do?

Hello @Brian571 new SIM cards can take up to 24hrs to fully activate and services may not be available or work correctly during this time. 

 

You can check if there are any packs on your account using this link from your phones data (not WiFi) connection:

 

http://add-on.ee.co.uk

 

Try again a little later and hopefully the SIM

has finished activating and works then, restarting your phone and calling 150 to listen to any welcome messages will help to register it on the network. 

 

You can also try removing the pack online by registering for MYEE and then logging in through a browser and clicking stop pack under MYEE>packs & add ons. 🙂
