Cancellation

Am I the only customer of EE that finds it damned frustrating that you have to phone them for everything.

Why can’t you have a damned email address, ah yes I forgot that would make it too easy to cancel your account.

I suggest everyone lobby government to make companies like EE set up an email department for customers.

i want to cancel my contract and every time I try to do so I’m asked a load of stupid questions as to why I want to cancel in an attempt to keep me as a customer.

I really am getting sick of this now, I’ve even written via snail mail and it’s got me nowhere.

You don't need to cancel PAYG/Flex. Just text STOP PACK to 150 & bin the SIM.

Hi @Calders

Never had a problem myself. You are asked the questions to establish if there was anything EE can improve. If you politely said you don't want to answer these questions, then they wouldn't be asked.

As for email, you need to call to cancel as a security feature to ensure you are the account holder.

Good luck with your new carrier.

Thanks
