My normal way to top up is to use a credit card online; but now I can't get it to work.
Navigated to 'Ways to top up on pay as you go'
Selected 'All other ways to top up'
Selected 'Top up now, without registering a payment card'
Then returned to 'Ways to top up on pay as you go'
Also the same behaviour when selecting ' top up someone else's credit'
Tried clearing cookies, etc. Also tried Android phone, Apple iPad, Kindle and Windows PC - all give the same result.
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Hi Tom222: I am having the same problem...is this option being discontinued or is there a problem with the website?

I am also having the same problem. I usually top up my husband's phone for him - he is a bit of a technophobe!
It seems that this issue has not been resolved in which case I will need to get him another SIM card with another company when his credit runs out!

Already done that. I can get the Orange top-up page, then scroll down to All Other Ways , click on that, then scroll down to Top up someone else's credit, click on that and end up back on the Orange Ways to top up page! I also tried Top up without registering a payment card - same result!
In spite of the fact that I am disabled, I will struggle round to my nearest ATM and try that, but if that does not work, goodbye EE. My husband only has a basic phone as he does not want or need anything more and this is just too much hassle!

Topped up at the ATM but this will not always be convenient. In view of the fact that this is obviously an ongoing issue perhaps we could be informed as to whether the service will be continued or not.

I used to be able to top up on Orange just by entering the phone number and using a credit card. This does not work anymore, or I can't find the way to do it.
I have topped up using 450 and registering a credit card but are Orange really charging me 25p to do this.
Please can someone show how to top up simply on-line or I will have to use another service provider. I don't see why I should be charged to top up.

Can't sign up to MyEE because it doesn't recognise my mobile number. The simple online top up no longer works. The other ways cost a 25p 450 call - not acceptable. I have made a complaint to EE.

James - sorry but the Help page simply is not helpful
like other users it was in the past so easy to simply top up my wifes phone by entering her number and credit card details
now - well i think Stephen Hawking would struggle
changing supplier if the old website doesnt re appear soon !

Hello @James_B confirming the anonymous online top up service is still not working for Orange. It has since been fixed for EE. Is this still being looked in to? 🙂
