Heres my little tale of woe, yesterday I bought a £40 top up voucher from an EE Store with the intention of purchasing a 6MONTHWEB booster as I have done since 2011, added voucher with no problems then used the Four Four One/6MONTHWEB text message route, the reply read "sorry we cannot carry out your request please try again later", as if that wasn't irritating enough, 40p had disappeared from my credit so as you can possibly understand I am baffled and more than a little annoyed with this development, any of you techno-boffins out there have any idea what I've done wrong?

I can see why you would be irritated and it's totally understandable.
Let's change this.
What I would recommend is a quick chat with customer services and they can hopefully fix this for you.
