I'm not sure if the Samsung Galaxy A40 is compatible with the Samsung Galaxy watch can someone help?

The terms and conditions state that my samsung tablet A 2019 should be compatible to be paired and on my pay monthly account. Yet the answer i receieved today was that they samsung galaxy watch 4G cannot paid with it. Can anybody help because i am getting frustrated.

I am sorry, you would need a compatible phone on our EE network with either a pay monthly or SIM only plan to pair a Samsung Galaxy Watch with LTE.
The following Samsung phones on a pay monthly or SIM only plan are compatible;

Thank you for telling me the devices the watch works with though that i not my question. That then means that no solution is given! So; Can you please tell me why the terms and conditions arent specifying this? Its saying device and not a phone. I have taken the watch based on those conditions.

Yes i did and when a search is done on this website as to what devices work with the watch it stated devices that have minimum of 1.5 GB Ram, android 4.3 and above and be pay monthly or sim only. Now i know ee will do everything to remove that answer to that question on the help section so i have taken a screemshot. Still awaiting a call back about this issue as well!

I have spoke to tech support over the last 2 days and awaiting confirmation as to why the tablet should not fuction in line with the screenshot. I really dont know of the care team are different to tech support. Also i have an S7 edge i could use but probably will get told it wont because not on same contract!!! I mean its as if everything is being done not to help

I am very sorry the 4G Samsung Watch must be on the same EE account as the phone you would like to pair the watch with.
Is the Samsung phone on a pay monthly account?

Not on same account and this is another issue that is not specifically mentioned before people purchase a 4G watch. I think alot of it could be avoided by a little more communication
