Internet Connectivity Issue with Microsoft Lumia 950 XL

Hello,

in the last few days I have had issue with my internet connectivity. whenever I am connected to LTE I have problems loading some of my content. Twitter URL forwarding doesnt work. Mcirosoft login doesnt work and email eas.outlook.com throws error 0x80072efd . I believe this happened ever since I have received new settings for internet a few weeks back as it worked okay for the last year. Didnt change anything on the device. Tried to find updated internet settings but couldnt find a way to request them. called support under 150 but they didnt send anything. Restarted phone without sim and with sim again and it updated something but still not working. tried to force it to 3G connection yesterday and it worked without problems

Hello @EE1338 try calling customer service and asking for a sim refresh - this should correct any corrupt settings stored on your sim. Also make sure you have the EE profile active not LIFE in sim setting>mobile operator settings. If none of these work try another EE sim in it if you can to confirm a line or device fault. Here is a link containing the correct APN settings for EE so you can check. Smiley Happy:

They tried to send this but unsuccessful installed something. Good thing I paid for the extra service hours. Do they store those on the sim card? Would they have changed it recently and thats the reason I need a new sim? Would just go to the store and get help but I have yet to find an EE store that is more than a point of sale.

Hello @EE1338 I would advise calling and asking again the refresh is sent via SMS and is not 100% effective.

No your APN settings should be installed on the phone - as long as they match those in the link above they should be fine.

Needing a new sim is a possibility especially if you have an old degrading one. You can pick a replacement up from any EE store or through customer service. I will give you the online form to but it's sometimes missed through there:

Stores can also check your phone settings etc to make sure it is set up correct. Here is the storefinder link. Smiley Happy:
