The steps below will guide you through pairing your Samsung Galaxy Watch with LTE with your phone on the same EE account.
The 4G Samsung Watch must be on the same EE account as the phone you would like to pair the watch with.
You will need one of the following Samsung phones on a pay monthly or SIM Only EE account;
You will need to have Bluetooth turned on in your phone settings and also a data connection (which can be either 4G or WiFi).

I am also having grief getting my Galaxy Watch to operate via 4G, I have called the help desk techie peeps and the lady that helped was ace said there was a problem with some software and sorted some bit out regarding recompensation for not having access to the full operations on the watch.
Also since getting the watches added to my family account, we are unable to gift data. This may be a coincidence though.

Not as yet? It would be good to get a reply relating to both issues:
1) The 4G function on mine and my wife's watch.
2) the operability of the MyEE app to allow data sharing.

Just to let people know I have a Nokia 7 plus and the watch works perfect with it and can make calls without being near my phone.
